About the role
As a Pharmacist you will play a key role in delivering safe effective and patient-centred medication services across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will provide high-quality dispensing clinical and counselling services ensuring appropriate and timely access to medicines while supporting optimal therapeutic outcomes. With a focus on evidence-based practice and medication safety you will contribute to overall medication management and collaborate closely with medical nursing and allied health teams to support excellence in patient care.
In this role you will offer expert drug and therapeutic advice support compliance with hospital and departmental policies and uphold State and Federal legislative requirements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will participate in service delivery and improvement activities contributing to efficient workflows collaborative practice and a culture of continuous improvement. In this role you will bring:
Qualifications & Registration
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current or eligible registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
Clinical & Technical Capability
Knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice dispensing production medicines information and relevant pharmacy legislation supported by completion of pre-registration hospital or community training.
Communication & Collaboration
Effective written and verbal communication skills ability to work in multidisciplinary teams engage with patients and colleagues and provide a high standard of service.
Organisation & Professional Attributes
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail ability to work with initiative or under supervision good technical and interpersonal skills and flexibility and resilience in a changing environment.
