We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Stroke Development Instructor to join our aquatics team. The instructor will be responsible for teaching and refining swimming techniques in freestyle backstroke breaststroke and butterfly. This role focuses on helping swimmers transition from learn-to-swim levels into more advanced skill development.
- Teach stroke development classes.
- Provide clear demonstrations and constructive feedback on technique.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment at all times.
- Encourage swimmers to set goals and track their progress.
- Strong knowledge of all four competitive strokes.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Passion for helping swimmers improve confidence and ability in the water.
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Competitive pay- between $18-$20/hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
