What You Will Do:
The Senior Learning Experience Designer for Controls and Equipment/Chillers will play a pivotal role in advancing Johnson Controls mission by leading the design coordination and delivery of training programs for our partners agents and customers. This role is responsible for program management of the Controls and Equipment/Chillers training portfolio ensuring our external audiences gain the technical knowledge business skills and confidence to represent Johnson Controls effectively.
In this role you will partner with key stakeholders across the business to plan develop and deliver impactful training solutions measure their effectiveness and foster a culture continuous improvement. This includes designing and facilitating both technical and business skills training as well as creating new content to meet the evolving business needs.
How You Will Do It:
Serve as the program manager for Controls and equipment/Chillers training programs overseeing end-to-end planning delivery and evaluation.
Manage learning program logistics and communications including class rosters scheduling budgeting facilitator coordination and stakeholder updates for high-impact learning initiatives.
Maintain and update training program roadmaps aligning with business priorities and product launches.
Develop and maintain program documentation toolkits SharePoint sites and communication plans to support consistent and high-quality learning experiences.
Design develop and facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training to support program goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with product sales and marketing stakeholders acting as a consultative partner to create holistic training solutions that maximize business impact.
Utilize learning technologies and platforms to enhance the learning experience and maintain a repository of training materials.
Stay current on Johnson Controls products technology and industry trends to ensure training content remains relevant and impactful.
Leverage KPIs and learner feedback to evaluate training impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
What We Look For:
Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Education Business or related field; or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in instructional design program management or learning experience development.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
Proficiency in content authoring tools and Learning Management Systems.
Experience developing blended learning solutions and a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and feedback to improve learning outcomes.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
NOTE: This is a virtual/remote position considering candidates who reside within the United States. Eastern and Central time zone preferred.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $97000 - $130000(Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
