The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This position requires a strong presence during evening and weekend shifts when the hotel is most active with Bar Moxy food & beverage service and hotel activations. The AGM partners closely with evening teams to drive the hotels vision and maintain a vibrant seamless guest experience. Responsibilities include driving revenue and managing expenses to deliver strong financial performance while also training coaching and developing team members to uphold hotel policies standards and expectations. This position also oversees food and beverage and event operations including Bar Moxy and on-property activations ensuring that service and energy remain seamless across all guest touchpoints. Frequent and detailed communication with Department Managers is essential to maintain consistency and alignment across all shifts.

Experience / Education:

Minimum of 3 years of leadership management or supervisory experience preferred as well as a college degree and/or equivalent work experience; solid working knowledge of the principles and practices within the Hospitality Profession including experiential knowledge required for management of people and complex problems; understand the operations of other departments i.e. Sales Housekeeping Food & Beverage and Engineering; Associates Degree and/or equivalent work experience; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Experience in managing Food and Beverage operations in a hotel setting is a plus.
