Final is our Telia Finance core platform supporting our B2B business products Leasing and Billing. As a Software Developer you will be responsible for develop/re-write integrations develop functions according to our new design philosophy and be part of the modernization of the migrated platform. Our new design will replace functions that are not part of the one-to-one migration of the platform. We are in the transformation journey of migrating the current Cobol based platform to Java in this work we also need to transform integrations and file flows so that these can communicate with the new Java based platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage coding and code reviews to maintain high code quality standards
• Database integration particularly with Oracle RDBMS
• Work in Kubernetes-based Linux environments including Bash scriptning

• Perform tests and documentation
• Frontend development using React or Vue JavaScript TypeScript and CSS

Is this you

To be successful in this role we believe you have at least 7 years of backend development experience in Java and are comfortable with management tools like Maven as well as Kubernetes-based Linux environments. You have previously been working with modern version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub GitHub Runners and JFrog Artifactory. A solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) is essential. Fluency in English is required fluency in Swedish is preferred.

Key experience:

• Hands-on coding and code reviews to maintain high code quality standards
• Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven
• Working in Kubernetes-based Linux environments including Bash scripting
• Version control and CI/CD tools including GitHub GitHub Runners and JFrog Artifactory
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)
• Fluency in English fluency in Swedish is preferred.
• Experience with advanced invoicing solutions accounts receivable systems or accounting functionality within a business system context is considered a plus
