Overview of the role
This role provides high-quality administrative support to the Executive Assistant and Executive Teamcontributing to the smooth running of Trust-wide operations events and innovation projects. Theapprentice will work closely with the Executive Assistant to support executive-level functionsincluding diary management event coordination innovation delivery and administrative apprenticeship offers a structured learning pathway combining practical experience with formaltraining in business administration while supporting the Trusts strategic goals in innovation inclusionand operational excellence.
As a Business Administration Apprentice you will gain practical experience in a variety ofadministrative tasks while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will support theTrust-wide administration function and work closely with the Executive Assistant gaining insight intohigh-level executive administration and strategic planning. Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Assistant with diary management meeting coordination and travelbookings.
- Prepare and format documents reports and presentations to a professional standard.
- Maintain accurate records filing systems and correspondence logs.
- Support internal communications and information flow across departments.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications (emails phone calls letters).
- Greet visitors and respond to routine enquiries from students parents and staff.
- Draft emails letters reports and professional correspondence under the guidance of theExecutive Assistant or senior leaders.
- Help maintain internal systems databases and records.
- Assist in processing invoices expenses and purchase orders.
- Support event planning travel booking and team coordination tasks.
- Provide administrative assistance for innovation initiatives.
- Help coordinate project timelines collate updates and support stakeholder communications.
- Utilise Trust-approved digital tools and platforms including but not limited to Outlook WordExcel Teams SharePoint or any other systems adopted in the future to manage tasks andworkflows.
- Learn to use Trust platforms for document management scheduling and communication.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Any other reasonable requests relevant to the role as directed by the Executive Assistant orsenior leaders.
