Job Summary

Were currently hiring a Part-Time Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Support Worker to work 2 days per week with the potential to increase to 4 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexibility while still being part of a nurturing and professional team.
What Youll Do:
Provide inclusive support to children with exceptionalities
Foster childrens emotional physical and cognitive development
Support and implement an Emergent Curriculum
Maintain accurate documentation and health & safety checks
Collaborate with professionals (e.g. Speech Therapists Occupational Therapists Early Interventionists)
Support smooth transitions for children throughout the day
Meet staff-to-child ratios and standards as outlined in BCs Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR)
Participate in team meetings and professional development
What You Bring:
Valid BC ECE Certificate
Experience working with children with exceptionalities (required)
Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
CPR & First Aid Level C certification
Up-to-date Immunization Record
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Positive flexible and compassionate attitude
