Blackbird serves families in-person and virtually across Pennsylvania Virginia and New Jersey with plans to expand to new states in 2026.

Our approach looks at the whole child - how their brain body and behavior interact - to fully understand their challenges and treat the cause not just the symptoms.

Position Summary

Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Mount Laurel New Jersey. Youll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families.

W-2 Employee - Part-Time (20 hours/week)

• Commitment: 16 hours per week of direct therapy
• Schedule: 4-8pm Monday through Friday
• Work Model: Hybrid with at least three days per week on site in Mount Laurel NJ
• Compensation: $50000-$60000 annually

• Experienced clinician using evidence-based practices

• Skilled and experienced in facilitating both in person and virtual telehealth direct care
• Comfortable using technology including Google Suite Electronic Medical Records systems and other virtual platforms
• Excited to make an impact and driven by patient outcomes
• Possess outstanding communication and documentation skills
• Willing to go the extra mile when working with families with the flexibility and willingness to reschedule with patients if needed
• Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment
• Ability to show initiative good judgment and resourcefulness

How youll make an impact:

• Lead individual therapy sessions to youth ages 2-26
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling individualized treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive trusting rapport with patients
• Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
• Collaborate with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
• Maintain thorough patient records and documentation
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
• Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate

The basics youll need:

• Independently licensed as a LPC LMFT LCSW in New Jersey
• Possess one (1) year of experience working with children and adolescent patients
• Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
• Flexibility to work during Blackbirds core after-school hours: after 4pm ET during the week and/or weekends
