DescriptionABOUT THE ROLE:
- The Digital Delivery Director identifies and evaluates fundamental issues providing strategy and direction for a cross-functional team responsible for designing planning building and supporting a portfolio of global websites applications and mobile apps. The incumbent implements company-wide practices to ensure alignment of the portfolio initiatives and technical roadmap to the multi-year digital strategy. They provide strategy vision and direction to ensure successful digital experiences for customers around the globe.
- The Digital Delivery Director will lead a delivery team focused on development and operational support of Order Management and Fulfillment solutions across retail commerce channels (online mobile and in-store) including 5000 retail stores in North America and Latin America. This role is accountable for delivering innovative solutions that enhance customer experience streamline store operations and support business growth. This technology leader will be responsible for driving the architecture development and delivery of scalable high-performance solutions. The Digital Delivery Director will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with product UX and business stakeholders to ensure quality reliability and consistency across all retail touchpoints.
ResponsibilitiesWHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
Leadership & Supervision
- Inspires Action Coordinates multiple initiatives.
- Establishes and develops broader company strategy and translates into multi-functional objectives.
- Leads activities of one or more functional areas divisions product groups and services through subordinate directors / managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of assigned areas.
- Oversees team(s) to develop new methods and solve company-wide matters.
- Responsible for setting and executing the talent strategy through hiring onboarding learning & development performance succession planning engagement recognition and inclusion diversity and equity practices.
- Responsible for creating and fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
- Responsible for directing empowering and motivating employees to successfully accomplish strategic priorities and responsibilities.
Knowledge & Application
- Develops and provides strategy vision and direction to multiple functions.
- Implements companywide policies and practices. Provides input to executive management.
- Accountable for function financial results which impact organization performance.
- Works consistently with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.
- Through assessment of intangible variables identifies and evaluates fundamental issues providing strategy and direction for multiple functional areas.
- Anticipates factors that could influence strategies and company position in the market.

- Interacts with internal and external executive level management requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters Influences policymaking and strategy based on communication strategies and persuasion skills.

QualificationsEducation
- Required
- Bachelors degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) lieu of a degree at least 12 years of experience in IT
- Preferred
- Certifications and/or advanced degree focused on eCommerce or Retail Management.
Knowledge & Experience
- 9 years of experience in IT
- 5 years management or enterprise department manager experience including application development.
Preferred
- Experience with eCommerce and retail business processes including order capture and fulfillment inventory visibility and reservation and 3rd party procurement and related software (e.g. IBM Sterling Order Management) applications integrations and infrastructure to support customer order management and store fulfillment.
- Experience in leading digital delivery teams utilizing Agile software delivery practices to enable desired business capabilities as defined by business leaders within a Product Management framework.
- Experience in leading application development using MACH architecture (Microservices API-first Cloud-native and Headless) ensuring scalable flexible and high-performance solutions with an edge computing architecture.
