Full Time Day Shift Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore MD
8:00am - 4:30pm
Position Summary:
- The Pathology Medical Archives Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of JHH JHB and or HCGH Surgical Pathology medical records and release of information for legal and medical purposes.
- Will coordinate timely send out of pathology materials and reports to outside clinicians institutions research facilities and reference laboratories.
- Receives and responds to subpoenas and other written authorizations for release of medical records and/or materials with the approval of the appropriate physician Johns Hopkins general counsels representative and/or pathology supervisor.
- Works closely with outside laboratories ensuring correct materials are shipped in the required timeframe with correct documents (e.g. ABN financial disclosure waiver test requisition etc. Processes all requests for clinical trial research programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a minimum of a high school diploma. An Associates degree in business or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 3 years related experience preferably in a clinical office environment.

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum / will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
