The Role
As a Chartered Technician you will:
- Play a key role in the technical delivery of projects from planning through to completion
- Work closely with architects designers and external consultants
- Use your knowledge of construction building regulations and technical design to bring residential projects to life
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate technical drawings and detailed construction packages using REVIT
- Oversee coordination of technical design across all project stages
- Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications
- Liaise with clients contractors and consultants to ensure smooth project progression
- Ensure compliance with current building regulations and technical standards
- Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
Requirements
- Chartered Member of CIAT (essential)
- Strong experience in UK residential projects (new builds extensions conversions)
- Advanced proficiency in REVIT and familiarity with BIM workflows
- Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
- Excellent technical detailing skills and attention to accuracy
- Effective communicator with a proactive and professional approach
