Job Summary

Summary

Position Summary
The Research Assistant will work with a preceptor to learn the regulations guidelines and institutional policies that govern the proper conduct of research at National Jewish Health perform high quality data entry/extraction aids with data analysis and other aspects of epidemiologic research.

Essential Duties

  1. Learns and applies Clinical Research Guidelines including Good Clinical Practice HIPAA regulations and applicable NJH Policies and Procedures.
  2. Performs high quality data entry and extraction to build a study dataset from electronic medical record extracted test reports.
  3. Learns and performs study-related data analysis as appropriate.
  4. Compiles and reviews relevant literature as needed to complete the study scope of work.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelors degree required
  2. Work Experience: Epidemiologic research experience preferred
  3. Special Training Certification or Licensure: CITI training required within one month of hire

Salary Range: Salary for this position is set at $19.25/hour.
