Silk Screen Feeder

JOB SUMMARY

The Silk Screen Feeder will Assist the Silk Screen Press Operator in operating automatic screen-printing machine to print on laminated or non-laminated vinyl sheets; meeting quality standards and production requirements. Working on 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm this position is responsible for assisting in setting up and operating an automatic cylinder screen printing press according to written and/or verbal instructions established company procedures safety and quality guidelines.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ability to read and understand job ticket information.
• Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor.
• Verifies size color and type of substrate and color of ink from job order. Obtains and checks screens squeegee and related supplies to produce job.
• Helps set up press by installing screens squeegee flood bar and sets up feeder take-off and stackers.
• Load press feeder.
• Remove finished material and restack on trays.
• Maintains continuous inspection of job specifications and quality throughout production run.
• Follows all safety and operational procedures.
• Completes any required production records.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of press workstation and immediate press area with assistance of operator Perform weekly press maintenance.
• Be flexible with work hours to accommodate the needs of multi-shift operations.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor and lead pressman.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to operate hand carts pallet jacks stackers.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous materials.
• Must possess high standards of personal integrity.
• Able to interact with all levels of the organization.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus.
