Echocardiographer, Full-time

Duties include: TheEcho Technologist/Echocardiographerwill work within the Echo/Cardio Dept.

• Assumes responsibility of echocardiographic testing in the cardiovascular department
• Includes but not limited to all 2D echocardiogramstransesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and stress echo tests.
• Insures proper and economical use of equipment supplies and other clinical resources employed in the delivery of quality patient care and maintains appropriate records and files

Hours:

• Full Time 40 hrs per week; Some weekend day shifts 7a-3:30p or 9a-5p (a bit flexible on the weekend shift hours). Also some call hours are required from end of shift to following morning.

Experience/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree required
• Minimum of 5years experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting
• Some supervisory experience preferred
• Registered as RCVTor RDCS required
• Echocardiograph certification preferred
• CPR required

Salary Range: Minimum 42.66/hour - Maximum 70.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
