About SaT (Strategy and Transactions)
The Strategy and Transactions (SaT) area of EY is dedicated to helping organizations make informed strategic decisions and execute successful transactions. We combine expertise in strategy finance and operations to provide a comprehensive approach that maximizes value for our clients. Our team works on projects ranging from formulating growth strategies to executing complex transactions always with a focus on creating sustainable value.
About the Transaction Diligence Area
The Transaction Diligence area specializes in conducting thorough analyses and financial assessments of companies in the context of transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. Our Financial Due Diligence team works to identify risks and opportunities providing clients with critical information that enables them to make informed decisions. Through a methodical and analytical approach we help our clients understand the true value of target companies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration Industrial Engineering Economics or related fields.
- Advanced English (oral and written).
- Knowledge in financial analysis accounting and business valuation.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Teamwork and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- At least 2 years of experience in auditing consulting or a financial environment.
- Desirable knowledge in due diligence and/or M&A.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Alteryx Tableau and Power BI is desirable.
- Intermediate knowledge of financial accounting consolidated financial statements and reporting under IFRS US GAAP or NIFs.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in conducting financial analyses and reviews of financial statements of target companies.
- Collaborate in identifying financial and operational risks in the context of transactions.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze and interpret performance indicators related to profitability working capital efficiency etc.
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes that may affect clients.
- Manage and develop the work team.
- Ability to collaborate in a changing environment.
