Are you an experienced commissioning professional with a passion for digital transformation and service improvement Join our Digital Commissioning team at County Hall and help shape the future of Lancashires digital services.
As a Commissioning Officer you will:
- Lead the commissioning lifecycle for internal and external digital services including innovative solutions across Cybersecurity Artificial Intelligence End User Computing (EUC) Cloud technologies and Schools.
- Create and manage service level agreements to ensure value-for-money and high-quality delivery.
- Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with digital cybersecurity and commissioning policies and regulations.
- Manage service budgets and align them with strategic digital plans.
- Lead strategic planning and procurement of new digital capabilities.
What were looking for:
- Professional or academic qualification in procurement or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Substantial experience in commissioning or procurement ideally within the public sector.
- Proven ability to manage digital service commissioning and contract arrangements.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and best practices.
