The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplane (BCA)has an exciting opportunity for a First line Managerto join our Factory Quality Team located in Renton Washington.
The 737 Factory team is looking for a first line quality manager to support the is a fast-paced position. The candidate will be supporting a team of 10 to 15 quality inspectors. They will be performing QMS oversight activities site wide. This manager will be reporting to a senior quality manager supporting offsite activities and supporting onsite manufacturing managers.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations
Provides education coaching and review of Quality Management System
Develops and maintains relationships partnerships and communication with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Manages develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
1 year of Material Review Board (MRB) experience
3 years of experience in Aircraft assembly
3 years of experience in manufacturing
Must be able to work 1st shift hours both on-site and virtually
Must be willing to work overtime weekends and holidays if required
Preferred Qualifications:
3 Years 737 Experience
Flight line Experience
Ability to use Microsoft software
