This Position reports to:
Chromatography Lab SupervisorGas Chromatograph Runout Lab Technician ABB
The work model for the role is: Onsite Bartlesville OK
Your role and responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering configurations schematics and application specifications to assemble and test gas chromatographs (GCs).
Perform standard assembly tubing installation and quality testing to ensure products meet engineering and customer requirements.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Application Specialists to troubleshoot and improve assembly/testing processes.
Assists the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) process.
Qualifications for the role:
Required:
Associates degree plus up to 2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings configurations and wiring schematics
Experience performing assembly tasks using hand tools bending tubing and installing fittings
Basic computer skills to perform testing and update job status
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Preferred:
Experience with setup and testing of Process Gas Chromatographs (GCs) and knowledge of chromatography theory
Familiarity with test systems used to validate quality of manufactured assemblies
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and work collaboratively with engineering and assembly teams
Experience participating in process improvement activities or developing work practices
Manufacturing experience
