We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Manager to lead and optimize the daily operations of our comprehensive Imaging Services department. This key supervisory role is responsible for maintaining high standards of clinical excellence ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a collaborative patient-focused environment.
Reporting to the Operations leadership the Manager will oversee various imaging modalities and a dedicated support staff. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and certified clinical technologist who is ready to step into a formal leadership role utilizing their clinical expertise to drive operational efficiency and staff development.
Supervise Clinical Operations: Manage the day-to-day workflow across multiple imaging modalities front office staff and technical assistants ensuring efficient scheduling and patient throughput.
Clinical and Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical resource and role model for all imaging staff. Maintain personal clinical expertise in specialized modalities (e.g. Mammography) and ensure the technical quality of all diagnostic images.
Staff Management and Development: Oversee all supervisory duties including performance evaluations delegation of responsibilities initial and ongoing training for new and existing employees and participating in the hiring and disciplinary processes.
Workflow Optimization: Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance departmental performance and meet organizational goals.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure continuous adherence to professional standards and strict regulatory requirements set by key governing bodies including The Joint Commission CMS and the State Public Health Department.
Interdepartmental Relations: Maintain highly professional and supportive relationships with physicians clinical staff and patients upholding the facilitys mission and philosophy.
Administrative Support: Handle key administrative decisions for the Imaging Services department in the absence of senior management.
Education: An Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required. A Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred.
Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a diagnostic imaging setting. Prior formal management experience is not required; we welcome experienced technologists ready for a leadership transition.
Licensure & Certification (Non-Negotiable):
Current Radiologic Technologist license (CRT) from the State of California.
Active American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification with both general Radiography (RT) and Mammography (M) credentials.
