$51934.60 - $89641.28Position Summary:
The Department of Biological Sciences at Hillsborough College Brandon Campus is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join out faculty as a tenure-track instructor.
The Department seeks a strong scholar-practitioner who will share faculty enthusiasm for excellence in undergraduate teaching service to the campus and broader college-wide communities
and dedication to community partnerships within the region.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic academic division and to contribute to the development of student success. Desire candidates with on-going professional development
interests love of teaching and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in biology or masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of:
Anatomy & Physiology Biochemistry Biology Botany Ecology Environmental Science Marine Biology Microbiology Oceanography (with a biology emphasis) and Zoology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated instructional experience at the post-secondary level. Ability to teach an evening course if necessary. Instructional knowledge of CANVAS or another learning management system (LMS);
and a commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.
