About the Role
The Teaching Support Officer - PLT provides support to PLT academics and teaching fellows in the delivery of PLT coursework as well as the Facultys Work Integrated Learning offerings. Working closely with the PLT academics Professional Education Projects & Programs (PEPP) teamand faculty Teaching Support Team.
The role is responsible for providing strong administrative teaching support to key stakeholders to ensure the teaching function and its associated tasks across all the PLT programs are delivered efficiently and appropriately. The role reports to the Manager of PEPP has a dotted line reporting to the Director of the PLT and School Manager of Law & Justice and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities
As the Teaching Support Officer PLT youll play a critical role in coordinating academic teaching workloads managing complex administrative processes across the Faculty and PLT programs and in addition ensuring the smooth preparation of casual academic contracts. Youll also provide essential support to your stakeholders in collecting data and preparing reports for external accrediting bodieshelping shape the future of professional legal training at UNSW.
