We are seeking a motivated and innovative Design & Technology Teacher to teach across GCSE and A-Level at one of the leading Independent Schools in the country located in Buckinghamshire. About the Role

This is a full-time position starting in January. You will be teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 35 with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as Product Design Resistant Materials Graphics or Food Technology depending on your expertise. The successful candidate will inspire students of all abilities preparing them for academic success and instilling skills for future careers in engineering design and related fields.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage of their career including Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and more experienced practitioners. Both UK-trained DT teachers and overseas-qualified teachers will be considered. Applicants should have:

• A relevant degree in Design & Technology or a related subject

• UK QTS or an overseas teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons to GCSE and A-Level

• A commitment to fostering creativity innovation and practical skills in students

• A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Salary

The salary for this position will be based on the schools own competitive independent pay scale which is above the maintained sector (MPS/UPS equivalent). For the right candidate there may also be opportunities for responsibility allowances (TLRs). Accommodation may be available for staff who wish to take advantage of boarding responsibilities.
