The ideal candidate will be a creative and dedicated specialist with a degree in Drama or Theatre Studies holding QTS and having proven experience teaching across the secondary age range.
In this full-time role you will:
- Instruction & Attainment: Deliver high-quality practical and theoretical Drama lessons to students from Key Stage 3 (KS3) up to GCSE (KS4) with the ability to teach A-Level being highly advantageous.
- Curriculum & Pedagogy: Design and implement a stimulating curriculum that covers devising scripted work and theatrical history encouraging critical and analytical skills.
- Performance Direction: Lead and contribute to school productions and performance showcases managing rehearsals and nurturing student talent.
- Skill Development: Mentor students and provide constructive feedback to help them develop strong performance techniques stage presence and textual analysis skills.
- Collaboration: Actively contribute to the wider Arts faculty promoting the value of creative subjects across the school.
