WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

The purpose of the role as Automation Engineer you will be driving the development and performance of the Automation portfolio.

Heres the main elements of the role:
  • Act as a Process Owner and secure the long-term development of the automation process
  • Own and develop (short and long term) of Oatly process control system and Manufacturing
  • Produce design specifications for software and hardware
  • Manage change control within the automation system and MES coordinating this with a global perspective in coordination with IT
  • Drive the development of efficient solutions meeting our quality standards from design to commissioning and startup
  • Arrange for design reviews FAT integration tests and other audits connected to capex projects and improvement projects
  • Participate in risk assessment and management within the automation area
  • The role also includes troubleshooting and providing support
  • Connect to and support the Oatly Class manufacturing system

In this role you will report to the Engineering Manager and the position is based at the heart of Oatly our factory in Landskrona.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE

We are looking for you who have prior experience in leading automation projects within the food and beverage industry acting within a central function in a global company.

Other key competencies & experiences:
  • Experience acting as a product owner internally collaborating with IT/BizTech and other departments within the SCO as well as managing external suppliers
  • Experience managing both long- and short-term automation projects in an international setting including budget responsibility
  • Experience in process development and strong programming skills in automation systems
  • Solid experience with network and field bus systems
  • Senior expertise in PLC/SCADA/MES systems from different vendors
  • Systems knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal
  • A relevant education in Automation Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support as part of daily operations
