About The Role:

The Head of Origination plays a leading role in developing strong external partnerships and driving the identification structuring and execution of commercial opportunities in energy and flexibility markets. This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the origination team ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and maintaining close collaboration with the portfolio management and risk teams.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee the pipeline of new business opportunities across customers and products
  
• Guide the structuring of tailored solutions including PPAs hedging flexibility contracts and optimization solutions
  
• Oversee and drive negotiations of large-scale complex and strategic transactions
  
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts corporates financial institutions and strategic partners
  
• Represent the company as a thought leader and trusted advisor in energy markets supporting clients energy transition needs
  
• Work closely with the portfolio teams to ensure origination activities are aligned with portfolio optimization risk appetite and regulatory frameworks
  
• Partner with legal trading operations and finance teams to ensure successful deal execution and long-term value creation
  
• Provide market intelligence to senior leadership and contribute to broader corporate strategy
  
• Oversee performance of existing contracts and counterparties ensuring value delivery and proactive management
  
• Lead develop and mentor the origination team setting clear objectives and ensuring delivery against strategic goals
  
• Define and implement the origination strategy in alignment with the companys commercial vision

Who You Are:

• Degree in Economics Finance Engineering Business or related discipline
  
• Extensive experience in energy origination trading or structured products with a strong track record of leadership
  
• Strong external network within the European energy sector
  
• Demonstrated success in closing and managing complex large-scale transactions in European energy markets
  
• Strong knowledge of power flexibility renewables and environmental products including PPAs and derivatives
  
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire coach and scale a high-performing team
  
• Excellent commercial acumen negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  
• Ability to work seamlessly across functions and influence at executive level
  
• Fluency in English and Swedish
  

Location
Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
