Maths Teacher - Cranleigh Surrey
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in the beautiful Cranleigh area of Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-achieving school known for its strong academic results and supportive community. The position is available for a January 2026 start.
The Role
The school is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher with experience teaching across all key stages up to A-Level. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making mathematics accessible and engaging for all students fostering a deep understanding and love for the subject. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality inspiring Maths lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level.
- Developing and implementing a challenging curriculum that prepares students for both examinations and real-world applications.
- Supporting and mentoring students helping them to build confidence and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team of colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the departments continued success.
- Contributing to the schools vibrant extracurricular program such as a maths club or tutoring sessions.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this rewarding position you should have:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level with a strong ability to teach at A-Level.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping every student succeed.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Salary & Application
The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
