You will be instrumental in developing students skills in literature language and critical thinking helping them excel in GCSE and A-Level English.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature and A-Level courses
Assess and track student progress providing timely feedback to support learning
Foster a love of reading writing and communication skills in a diverse student body
Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities such as debate clubs and literary societies
Candidate Profile:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
Proven experience teaching English at KS3 KS4 and KS5 with strong results
Outstanding subject knowledge and innovative teaching strategies
Excellent classroom management and ability to engage learners of all abilities
