We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in Barnet. Responsibilities of a KS1 Teacher:
- Deliver the Key Stage 1 curriculum with creativity enthusiasm and high expectations.
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity.
- Assess and track progress adapting teaching to support individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a broad and balanced curriculum enriched with specialist teaching and extracurricular opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support childrens learning and wellbeing.
KS1 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 with a strong understanding of early learning and transition from EYFS.
- Excellent communication organisational and classroom management skills.
- A reflective and proactive approach with a genuine passion for teaching young children.
- The ability to contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
