Job Description

Are you an ambitious Year 1 Teacher ready to make your mark in Wimbledon This Ofsted-rated Outstanding school is looking for a creative and enthusiastic professional to inspire KS1 learners from January 2026.

This is a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher role beginning in January 2026 with exciting opportunities for growth and development. As a valued member of the team youll benefit from collaborative planning CPD opportunities and supportive leadership.

Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
  • Track progress carefully and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Inspire curiosity creativity and resilience in every learner.
  • Play a key role in school life across Wimbledon.

Year 1 Teacher Requirements

  • QTS and experience as a Year 1 Teacher.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Enthusiasm creativity and resilience.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
