About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Cambridge from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach English across KS3KS5 delivering lessons that nurture students love of literature language and communication. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3KS5.
Inspire students through a curriculum that includes classic and contemporary texts.
Monitor and assess progress providing effective feedback to support success.
Contribute to departmental planning resources and enrichment activities.
Encourage students to engage in creative writing debating and wider extracurricular opportunities.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic aspiration.

About You:
A degree in English Literature English Language or a related field.
QTS (PGCE or equivalent) with the ability to teach KS3KS5.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
Excellent communication organisation and classroom management skills.
