The Role

The school is seeking an inspirational Business Teacher with extensive experience teaching the subject with a primary focus on A-Level and potentially the IB Diploma. The ideal candidate will possess deep commercial knowledge and a passion for challenging high-ability students. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering outstanding intellectually rigorous lessons in Business Studies/Management to students at GCSE A-Level and potentially IB.
• Developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum that integrates academic theory with real-world case studies and advanced commercial concepts.
• Inspiring entrepreneurial thought and guiding students through in-depth research projects and highly competitive examination preparation.
• Contributing to the schools enrichment programme perhaps by leading a Young Enterprise scheme investment clubs or debating society.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this elite position you should have:

• A degree in Business Economics Finance or a related commercial discipline from a top university.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications (e.g. PGCE Independent School teaching experience).
• Extensive proven experience teaching Business at A-Level and/or IB with a demonstrable track record of securing top grades.
• A deep and current knowledge of global business issues corporate strategy and financial markets.
• Excellent communication professional presentation and scholarly classroom leadership skills.
