JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater FL
PAY RATE: $26-30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 2nd (3:30 PM 2:00 AM Mon Thurs OT Weekends)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Inspect cables using established methods operations and specifications
Use measuring devices such as dial indicators micrometers and scales
Accept reject or rework defective or malfunctioning units
Read and interpret blueprints diagrams specifications and inspection instructions
Monitor quality using statistical process or other control procedures
Communicate effectively with assemblers engineers and management
Perform assembly tasks related to inspection areas as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Experience in cable manufacturing and inspection
Knowledge of soldered and crimp inspection using IPC-A-620 standards
Detail-oriented; able to interpret drawings diagrams parts lists IPC manuals and work instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team-oriented; able to collaborate with assemblers test technicians engineers customers and management
Proficient with personal computers and modern applications
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
