JOB TITLE: Technical Drafter 1
LOCATION: Long Beach CA
PAY RATE: $33/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Communicate effectively with customers team members and project managers
Manufacture aircraft paint stencils PRE premask and 3D PRE parts
Inspect premask stencils and mylars for quality
Package manufactured parts for shipment
Create aircraft temporary registration numbers using latex printers
Correctly identify materials for specific jobs
Manage inventory for JIT ordering
Lift and load up to 45-pound rolls of material onto machines
Work onsite daily

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
Software: iCut Production Console Summa GoProduce Summa Axis Control SummaFlex CorelDraw Redars Microsoft Office Adobe Acrobat Ultimaker Cura CATIA V5
Equipment: Kongsberg flatbed plotters Summa flatbed plotters Summa drum cutters 3D printers
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Experience manufacturing paint premask stencils or PRE
Experience producing 3D parts with 3D printers
Experience using Summa and Kongsberg plotters and drum cutters
