Key Responsibilities
- Design develop certify and bring to production sub-GHz RF transmitters receivers transceivers and antennas.
- Optimize and troubleshoot RF systems for performance compliance and reliability.
- Develop and implement RF communication standards and protocols across diverse applications.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory safety and quality standards.
- Support product innovation in areas including fire burglary access control RFID BLE NFC IoT and wireless power transfer.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proven sub-GHz radio design experience up to 30 dBm TX power (319 915 MHz).
- Strong experience in antenna design and matching techniques across various antenna types.
- Experience in 13.56 MHz RFID reader/antenna design preferred.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth NFC NB-IoT LoRa Qi (wireless power transfer) and IoT smart device technologies a plus.
- Familiarity with antenna field plotting software and measurement techniques.
- Strong background in digital modulation error correction and low-power RF performance.
- Proficiency in schematic design circuit simulation PCB layout guidelines and component selection.
- Hands-on experience with Vector Network Analyzers Signal/Spectrum Analyzers Vector Signal Generators Universal Radio Communication Tester (CMU-200 or equivalent).
- Experience implementing wireless communication protocols for embedded systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Embedded software/firmware development experience a plus.
