Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Day Shift) Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Essential Functions:
- Imaging & Quality Control:
Perform imaging procedures and quality control checks according to established standards and manufacturer guidelines. Collaborate with engineers and physicists to maintain optimal equipment performance. - Patient Care & Communication:
Communicate with patients to explain procedures assess needs and ensure comfort while adhering to HIPAA. Ensure proper patient positioning and adjust as needed for safety. - Radiation Safety:
Adhere to radiation safety protocols. Verify the correct radiopharmaceutical is used screen for pregnancy and educate patients on safety practices. - Collaboration:
Work closely with medical teams to ensure the accurate transfer of images to PACS and help manage supplies including radiopharmaceuticals.

- Patient Monitoring:
Observe and report any changes in a patients condition. Administer first aid as needed. - Efficiency & Independence:
Provide timely cost-efficient services with minimal supervision. - Customer Satisfaction:
Maintain professionalism and minimize wait times to ensure positive patient experiences. - Technical Skills:
Proficient in PACS EMR systems and other electronic tools for managing patient data and documentation.
Certification/License Requirements:
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N): Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine.
- Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT): Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
