Job Description
RN- Nurse Manager Medical Telemetry (Rotating Shift)
Location: Margate FL 33063
Shift: 10-hr Variable Shift
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily operations of the Medical Telemetry Unit
- Supervise coach and support nursing staff including Charge Nurses
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary teams and leadership to coordinate care
- Manage staffing scheduling budgeting and supply chain needs of the department
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence accountability and compassionate patient care
Qu alifications:
- Current Florida RN license or compact licensure eligible under Florida guidelines
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS Certification Required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS Certification Required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) or similar nursing leadership role in an acute care setting
- Strong communication critical thinking and leadership skills
