Med-Surg Ortho- RN (Day Shift)
Location: Tallahassee FL 32301
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Collect comprehensive patient data to assess health status and needs
- Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and patient issues
- Develop individualized care plans based on expected outcomes
- Advocate for patient safety and well-being as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide education to patients and families on medications treatments and procedures
- Ensure efficient and effective use of time supplies and equipment
- Support patients and families throughout hospitalization and recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication within the healthcare team
Requirements:
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Florida to obtain prior to start
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience required
- Acute care experience strongly preferred
- LTAC experience may be considered
- Certifications:
- BLS Required
- ACLS Preferred (Required within 6 months of hire)
- Education:
- BSN Preferred
