Certified Hand Therapist OT (Day Shift) Location: Miami FL 33010
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with hand wrist elbow and shoulder injuries or conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with physicians and patients.
- Utilize advanced techniques including splint fabrication manual therapy therapeutic exercise and modalities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the medical record.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention recovery and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy License in the State of Florida.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in hand therapy.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
