Job Description

Prompt Engineer Alternative Investments
Location: New York City Onsite
Start: ASAP Duration: Through EOY

About the Role:
We are seeking a Prompt Engineer specializing in Alternative Investments to leverage Generative AI (LLMs) in Private Equity/Alternative Investment workflows. This role bridges domain expertise and AI-driven innovation in investment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine LLM prompts to optimize deal sourcing due diligence and capital deployment.

  • Build and automate workflows using Agentic AI methodologies.

  • Partner with Investment Managers to enhance decision-making with AI-powered tools.

  • Integrate LLMs into product features research and portfolio management.

  • Analyze datasets to uncover investment trends risks and opportunities.

  • Act as a thought leader mentoring junior staff and driving AI adoption.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years in Business Operations within Private Equity/Alternative Investments.

  • Proven hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLM technologies.

  • Proficiency in Python R SQL; experience with Azure preferred.

  • Strong domain knowledge: LP relations fundraising co-investment strategies.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
