Job role: Project Coordinator/Assistant Administrator
Duration: 6-Month Contract to hire
Location: San Jose hybrid 3 days a week
About the Role:
Client is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Project Coordinator/Assistant Administrator to directly support our Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role blends executive support with light project coordination helping streamline operations and drive efficiency across the technology organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the CIOs calendar including scheduling prioritization and coordination across executive teams
- Act as a liaison between the CIO and internal stakeholders helping translate strategic ideas into actionable tasks
- Assist with basic contract reviews purchasing workflows and vendor coordination
- Support internal communications and strategic storytelling for tech initiatives
- Help organize frameworks meetings and documentation for cross-functional projects
- Maintain a pulse on technology workflows and systems to identify opportunities for process improvement
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to summarize and translate technical information into clear actionable items
- Familiarity with purchasing or willingness to learn procurement processes
- Comfort working in fast-paced high-visibility environments
- Basic understanding of technology systems and workflows (no coding required)
- Experience supporting senior leadership or working in a Chief of Staff-like capacity is a plus
