Job Description
Network Senior Engineer - 12 Month Contract
Responsibilties:
-
Design and deploy LAN WAN and wireless networks including routers switches firewalls and load balancers.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

Implement and manage network security protocols including VPNs firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud integration data center operations and remote connectivity.

Lead network upgrades migrations and capacity planning initiatives.
-
Maintain documentation of network configurations diagrams and operational procedures.
-
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on strategic projects.

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (Masters preferred).

5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise environments.

Strong expertise in Cisco Juniper or similar networking platforms.
-
Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds Wireshark).
-
Deep understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP BGP OSPF and other protocols.

Experience with cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid environments.

Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP CCIE JNCIP or equivalent) highly desirable.
