What Youll Do:Enhance Quality of Life
Create joyful purposeful moments through personalized activities like music therapy art reminiscence sessions and social events.Support Behavioral Wellness
Monitor and document changes in behavior identify triggers and implement calming interventions to promote emotional stability.Deliver Tailored Care
Collaborate with nursing staff to assess cognitive emotional and physical health ensuring care plans evolve with each residents needs.Empower Families & Caregivers
Serve as a compassionate point of contact offering education emotional support and opportunities for engagement through events support groups and memory cafés.Create Safe Supportive Spaces
What Were Looking For:
Help design dementia-friendly environments and train staff in specialized care techniques to ensure safety and comfort.- Experience in memory care gerontology or related fields
- Strong communication and observational skills
- A heart for service and a commitment to dignity and respect
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Must have a degree in Social Work Gerontology Psychology Sociology Counseling or a related field
