Job Description
Coffee Shop Attendant
Schedule:
This is a part time position working two days per week.
Monday 7am-2:30pm
Wednesday 7am-2:30pm

How youll contribute
A Coffee Shop Attendantwho excels in this role:
Greet customers take orders and provide information regarding items on the menu.
Prepare and serve coffee and other drinks according to customer requests.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of sandwich station.
Accurately process payments handle cash and manage sales.
Open and close the coffee shop for the day.
Maintain a clean and tidy environment by regularly wiping down counters tables and all equipment.
Monitor stock levels of supply and notify manager when replenishment is needed.
Takes and prepares orders including coffee and food items.
Coordinate and fulfill any lunch orders.
Adheres to Food and Nutrition Services policies and procedures.
What were looking for
The ideal applicant for this role will be able to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision. They will possess critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment. Additional requirements include:
High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Knowledge of food sanitation and safety.
Knowledge of food quality through the use of established procedures and guidelines.
Work requires physical ability such as walking standing and bending.
Excellent customer service skills including effective listening skills.
Basic math skills are required.
Familiarity with the organization and functions of each hospital department.
Maintain harmonious relationships with other staff members.
