About the Role:
Bairds Human Resources team is dedicated to attracting developing engaging and retaining the best global talent to meet the firms mission of being a best place to are treated as valuable team members and have the ability to directly contribute to the success of the team while learning from experienced professionals.
Our HR Talent Development team is responsible for supporting talent development programs instructional design and development and other key talent management initiatives. They closely partner with teams across HR to successfully collaborate and execute on key HR programs and projects. When new HR client needs arise the team will scope design a process and manage key client work. The team is made up of agile experts partnering to drive great results for our internal partners and clients.
This is a hybrid internship working Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday in our downtown Milwaukee WI office and Monday and Friday remote. The intern must be able to work full time during the summer 37.5-40 hours per week and work part time during the school semesters 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in January 2026.
The Impact Youll Make:
Provide coordination and support for firmwide programming including invitations registration material preparation logistics classroom scheduling setup and evaluation
Collect and consolidate learning content curating for a library of resources in support of Workday our learning management system
Research potential new program content to obtain relevant articles and videos in support of learning concepts
Analyze and research training coaching development and other HR topics
Assist in design work including infographic design brochures flyers and other communication materials in Word PowerPoint and other graphic design software
Review online course content testing functionality and tracking edits in partnership with program designers
Create and deliver presentations at Talent Development team meetings
What Youll Bring to Baird:
Pursuing a degree in human resources communications marketing or related degree
Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with associates and leaders
Organizational excellence with the capacity to manage multiple priorities demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery
High level of motivation proactivity and strategic thinking with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Experience with public speaking and presentations
Prior experience in an office setting is preferred
