Raytheons Strategy team is looking for a Strategy Manager to join our this role you will conduct comprehensive market competitive and financial analysis to support the development and execution of Raytheon strategic initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data identify trends and provide actionable insights that drive business growth and innovation. You will play a critical role in shaping the companys strategic direction and ensuring its competitive edge in the market.
This onsite position will be in one of the following Raytheon locations:Arlington VA; Woburn MA; McKinney TX; Tucson AZ; or Farmington CT.
Some travel may be required to other RTX and target company sites.
Relocation assistance is not provided.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for performing analyses and preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management on defense industry dynamics.
- Use budgetary analysis to determine market size market growth rates identification of key market segments and competitor position in markets.
- Provide timely analysis of market trends and key customer budgetary perspectives.
- Work with strategic business units to understand market segments and competitive landscape critical to their strategy execution.
- Support research analysis and development of strategy on major deliverables.
- Develop new tools and visualizations to support internal deliverables and business needs.
- Assist with process automation and improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Experience working in the defense industry.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in data visualization storytelling research and/or data analysis. (ex. sensitivity analysis business case development market assessments).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Advance degree in Business Administration Strategy Economics Engineering Science or Mathematics.
- Active / transferable Secret Top Secret and SCI clearance.
- Experience in an internal corporate strategy team or top-tier consulting firm or with strategic decision-making frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of the U.S Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
- Experience with Power BI and other data analysis software.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a passion for strategic planning.
- Excellent communication skills for communicating complex information.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative accountable professional with results-oriented mindset.

Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: salary range for this role is 112000 USD - 224000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
