Overview:

Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Day Shift Radiology Services Coordinator.

For the Sentara Norfolk General

As a Radiology Services Coordinator you would be responsible for the order entry process communication and guest relations medical record maintenance/analysis responsible for transporting lifting positioning of patients and various non-technical/clerical duties. Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats.

Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical environment preferred.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk VA is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
