Trinity Health Grand Rapids Endoscopy Unit is a 12 bed unit that has 4 procedure rooms.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered compassionate quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing.

What you will do:
- Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure.
- Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures.
- As part of the procedural team you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures.
- Provide nurse sedation during a procedure.
- Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit
- Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.
What you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
- Associates Degree in Nursing required BSN preferred.
- In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Current BLS
- One year of RN experience in a health care setting.
- Experience inan acute health care setting preferred; Endoscopy or critical care
