JOB SUMMARY: The PBL Suite Evening Attendant ensures a secure learning environment for students in LECOMs Lynch Hall suite during evening hoursduring the academic year (August - May).
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that only authorized students faculty and staff with valid LECOM ID cards are admitted to the suite during evening hours;
- Ensure that all students sign-in upon entry and sign-out upon exit;
- Make periodic rounds to ensure that all facilities are being used appropriately;
- Ensure that there is no food or drink in PBL rooms;
- Utilize good judgment in dealing with any problems and in contacting SHU Police and/or supervisor as needed;
- Maintain a professional relationship with students;
- Report any problems via written and/or verbal reports;
- Ensures compliance with Internal State and Federal Regulations including FERPA;
- Follows proper OSHA and safety guidelines;
- Properly use maintain and protect equipment;
- Contribute directly to the Mission of LECOM embodying the essence of Osteopathic Principles and Practices by assisting with Institutional fundraising and participating in the LECOM Scholarship Auction;
- Participate in scholarly activity so to enrich and broaden the student learning experience;
- Commit to being a representative of LECOM by being actively involved in the community including but not limited to serving on Boards participating in community fundraisers and overall outreach; and
- Performs other duties needed and/or assigned for the department needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in a customer service-oriented environment required.
