Help shape the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency. We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineerto join our team of qualified diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will oversee thedesign integration and validation of hardware and software systems ensuring seamless interoperability across mission-critical position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.

In this position you will:

  • Apply your deep expertise to resolve integration challenges guide technical teams and ensure compliance with FAA and federal standards while supporting modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS).

  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and compliance records.

  • Lead integration planning design and execution forFAA modernization programs.

  • Ensure successful interoperability ofhardware software and communications systems.

  • Conduct and overseesystem-level integration testing verification and validation (V&V).

  • Collaborate with engineers architects and program managers todefine integration requirements and resolve design conflicts.

  • Develop and maintainintegration documentation diagrams and interface control documents (ICDs).

  • Supportrisk assessments trade studies and impact analysesfor integration strategies.

  • Provide technical oversight of subcontractors and vendors supporting integration work.

  • Ensure integration activities comply withFAA standards federal requirements and industry best practices.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions forintegration issues or system failures.

  • troubleshooting skills forcomplex multi-system environments.

  • Delivertechnical reports dashboards and executive-level briefingson integration progress and risks.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience; or Masters degree and 6 years; or Associates degree and 10 years experience; or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years experience.
  • Experience in systems integration and integration methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with integration testing system verification and validation activities.

  • Proficiency with configuration management and version control tools (Git SVN etc.).

  • Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (NIST RMF FISMA FedRAMP).
  • Strong background in networked systems integration.

  • Experience with virtualization cloud and hybrid environments.

  • Familiarity with system safety and security requirements in integration planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience.
  • Experience withFAA aerospace defense or other mission-critical federal systems.

  • Professional certifications such asCSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional) PMP or ITIL.

  • Experience withFAA NextGen modernization programsor NAS integration initiatives.

  • Background inaviation communications surveillance or air traffic management systems.

  • Experience withmodel-based systems engineering (MBSE)tools (e.g. Cameo Enterprise Architect).

  • Familiarity withinternational standards (ICAO ISO/IEC 15288)for systems integration.
