Job Summary
ClearWater Solutions LLC (CWS) is seeking a state-certified Water/ Wastewater Operator (dual licensed preferred wastewater required). This position has responsibility for the successful operation maintenance and supervision of the water distribution plant and wastewater treatment plant.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of sampling monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and management
- Operates sewage treatment sludge processing and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of sewage
- Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations
- Assist with the installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities
- Read and interpret meters and gauges that monitor the purification process and operation
- Operates and maintains water distribution system including servicing of pumps motors valves generators and equipment
- Analyzes and evaluates pump equipment trouble-shooting malfunctions and monitoring of water operations
- Responsible for daily inspections of all plant equipment and perform repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
- Collects and records data for record maintenance
- Performs facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks cutting grass and various other housekeeping duties
- Performs other related duties as directed

Qualifications
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Current water andwastewateroperator certification is preferred wastewater certificationrequired
Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records required
Experience within a water/ wastewater treatment environment
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires the ability to read write compile and analyze data and reports daily
Ability to monitor control panels gauges and meters to ensure proper plant operation
Must be available to work weekends overtime and on-call as needed
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor environments including extreme weather conditions (heat cold rain snow).
- Regularly required to stand walk bend kneel crouch climb and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; occasionally required to lift heavier objects with assistance or mechanical aids.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights including ladders scaffolding or into vaults manholes and tanks.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle tools operate valves and use instrumentation or control devices.
- Visual and auditory ability to detect identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions or leaks in piping and system components.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection safety harnesses gloves and protective clothing.
- Able to safely enter and work in hazardous environments including those with strong odors loud noise and potential chemical exposure.
- Must maintain physical readiness to respond quickly to emergency repairs or system failures including after-hours or on-call assignments.
